A Change of Sorts…
It’s with mixed emotions that I type this blog post.
Fresh Prints Clothing has been my pet project for the greater part of 5 years.
Starting on my dorm room floor of Gibbons Hall, I always dreamed that this project would one day become a successful art inspired business. And it will.
It absolutely will.
But, with progress comes change.
To make a long story short, Fresh Prints Clothing is changing.
I bid farewell to the Fresh Prints label and welcome change.

Our new Mr. Doodleslogo design above created by Zach Higgins
From now on I will work under the name Mr. Doodles. I hope to embrace this personality and develop a truly awesome brand.
When I started this brand, there were no other “Fresh Prints Clothing” on the net (or at least in searchable form). If you google the name today you will likely find 10 or 11. I am not accusing others of directly stealing the name. I won’t even claim I was the first. However, if the URL is already under operation by another clothing brand (me)…one would think someone would simply choose another brand name. Unfortunately, the massive growth in the streetwear movement and indie clothing lines has lead to multiple iterations of the Fresh Prints name.
As someone who prides myself in my work I can not tolerate the idea of someone operating under the same label as I. Instead of fighting a never ending battle to preserve the name, I am choosing to evolve and adapt.
I turn 25 this September. I am in a much different place than my 20 year old self. I am growing and evolving as an artist. Because of this, I am happily embracing this change.
From now on, I will be designing and operating under the label “Mr. Doodles“.
A new website is rapidly in development and I have already trickled the name into a few small projects. Please like us on facebook and follow us on twitter.
To celebrate our new launch, please come to our launch on August 4th, 2012 in Brooklyn, NY.
The party will be at Good Co., 10 Hope street, Brooklyn, NY.
There will music, outdoor games, BBQ, raffles, drink specials, and most importantly NEW T-SHIRTS!
I want to thank everyone who has bought a tee, come to our events, read my blogs, or shown any sort of support over the last 5 years. This is not the end. This is the beginning of something bigger and better.
Love you.

P.S. I still own Fresh Prints Clothing
Daily Doodle: Bad Rabbits
This Thursday I am lucky enough to be going to a very intimate, back loading-dock show with the likes of Every Time I Die and Bad Rabbits and Let Live playing.
Needless to say I am very excited.
I first came across Bad Rabbits through Johnny Cupcake’s blog.
I then had the opportunity to see them open for Travie McCoy at Brooklyn Bowl.
I have been hooked since.
With that excitement I decided to draw…surprise, surprise!
Can’t wait for Thursday!

P.S. We’re still in Round 3 for TeeMadness2012. Any votes will help us out!
Tee Madness: Sweet Sixteen!
First of all, thanks to everyone who has voted in Rounds 1 and 2!
Round 3 is going to be pretty tough, the brand we’re up against has a pretty http://www.freshprintsclothing.com/2012/03/tee-madness-sweet-sixteen/good social media presence and can promote like crazy.
Regardless, please help and vote Fresh Prints! Let’s see if we can get to the Elite 8!
Vote Fresh Prints!
I have taken a hiatus from the Daily Doodle to work on some other projects,
but this has inspired me to do a new doodle. Enjoy!

Daily Doodle: Rock Band
Rock Band
February 21, 2012: Le Pen (Ink), Adobe Photoshop Cs3
Long before the days of KISS or CREED came the ultimate piece of musical history.
The Rock Band.
These sedimentary rockers have rocked the metamorphic stage
more times than Steven Tyler has had his face lifted.
With Arms Wide Open? I don’t think so.

A Polyjuice Potion gone wrong?
Maybe.
I’m not 100% where this furry planting pot came from.
Maybe he is a portkey that got lost along the way?
All I know, Hairy Potter is here to stay, all warm and fuzzy.

iTunes Shuffle…what a wonderful tool.
Every once in awhile, a gem rolls through the airwaves.
Then..you have those songs from 8th grade that you forgot to delete.
I did it all for the cookie…

Daily Doodle: One GIANT Win
One Giant Win
February 6, 2012: Pencil, Adobe Photoshop Cs3
I can’t even front and pretend that I am a true New York Giants fan.
(In fact my favorite team rhymes with my favorite baseball team, also from New York.)
HOWEVER, I have to admit the New York Giants were infectious this year.
Down to the last 50 seconds of their season, they kept everyone in (or jumping out) their seats.
Having friends, family, and an entire city rooting for “Big Blue”, you can’t help but get caught in the fever of it all.
The Super Bowl was a great game to watch,
and it was ONE GIANT WIN!
Now, on a more serious note…
Let’s go Mets!

Daily Doodle: The Running Nose
The Running Nose
February 1, 2012: Charcoal, Adobe Photoshop Cs3
Today marks the first day of February.
It’s nearly 60 degrees, and not a snowflake in sight!
Unluckily for me, I can barely enjoy the beautiful weather.
My schnozz has been seemingly running a non stop marathon all week!
Hopefully this doodle will help my brain get the picture…
and finish running!

Daily Doodle: The Sea Monkey
The Sea Monkey
January 31, 2012: Charcoal, Adobe Photoshop Cs3
Sadly, I never had any pet sea monkeys growing up.
If I had… I would have named him Sam.
Sam would have been a great pal of mine, but sadly we never met.
This doodle is my ode to Sam,
The Sea Monkey that never was.
